PLEASE DO NOT USE DEODORANT OR DEO STICK BEFORE HAVING SPRAY TAN. If you have used it, please take a shower before having your treatment. After the development period (1-4 hours) you can take shower. Stay in the shower until the water runs clear. Moisturise daily to enhance and prolong your tan AFTER DEVELOPMENT PERIOD. Avoid gym and showering during the development period as sweating can inhibit your tan from developing. DO NOT RUB YOUR SKIN! After showering, always pat yourself dry with a towel Avoid, wearing white or tight clothing (during the development period). Do not use any skincare/body products DURING the development period. Chemicals in these product can react with the tan, and cause it to turn green. Express spray tan solution is ideal for nearly all skin tones, who do not want to sit for long waiting for the tan to develop. This tan can be left on to develop for 1-4 hours depending on your skin tone and the final result they would like to achieve, from light to dark tan. The active ingredient in most spray tanning products is the colour additive dihydroxyacetone (DHA). When applied, dihydroxyacetone reacts with dead cells in the skin's surface layer to temporarily darken the skin and simulate a tan. The colouring typically wears off after 8 days.
